When I was a kid I used to listen to a song that had to following lyrics:
Why don't you call your new dog tuffy, he looks pretty tough tugging on your clothes.
It was a song about a man who lost his dog and a kid that found a dog. the boy found out the dog belong to the man and when he went to return the dog the man said why don't you call your new dog tuffy.

I cant find it anywhere. Im starting to think the song never existed.....
