You guys have listened to Hans Zimmers Barra Barra right? From black hawk down? Best song I have ever heard!

whatever, dude just don't call me a fucking loser, you don't even know me
i thought Enya was the person that did the LOTR soundtrack, or at least a few songs from those movies..
Yes she did. This thread is bent. Dang, even I can detect the sarcasm in the first post.
yeah, i always prob expect to be serious about their threads that i can't detect suh things...........anymore......
Sarcasm? What are you talkin about...Enya is so awesome! Haven't you heard Carribean Blue?
And yes, Enya did songs for LOTR, Braveheart, The New World, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and many many more. :) |
I like some Enya stuff. It's pretty awesome. Seriously.
yes this will sound random but back in child care days they had enya playing during nap time....
ahhhhhh....I remember my nap time.....*shudder*
I grew up listening to Enya and I do believe her music is very easy to headbang to. You forget where you are when listening to some of her songs. Carribean Blue is a great song, by the way.

uhhh..... yeah.... ANYWAYS, Enya has to be one of my biggest guilty pleasures ;) |
I like Enya. I heard alot of it growing up since my parents listened to her. She did a great job on the LOTR soundtrack.
while you were growing up, you're either 2 or enya's older than i thought.....

Once I saw an album of Enya, it was bout 8 or 10 years old. And there was a track on it called "Lothlórien". So she referred to the Lord Of The Rrings long before the movies... |

As far as when she came out, from my research she had her first solo album in 1986. So yes, she has been around alot longer than you've thought Shanda. Funny thing is, people (myself included) seem to think that bands just came out when they first hear about them, when usually they have been around for years and years. |

Yes, Enya's voice and her music doesn't seem to be earthly...Very elvish. The song "Lothlórien" is an instrumental and it is composed by Enya and Nicky Ryan (I googled it :) ). The song is from Enya's album "Shepherd Moons" released in 1991. So I have to agree with phoenix, she was actually there long before LotR. |
I think I'd actually break a tear if I tea-bagged her, she's so heavenly.
You romantic.
Well, I would say Enya is good but very repeating so you really can't listen to all her discography in one day.
But on the other hand I still like her - it's ideal background music :) I listen to her only during some writing, studying, before sleeping and when I do something and I don't want to listen to unpleasant sound from street. |
Incredible new album. Looking forward to review it later today. :)
I love Enya. Incredible voice. Fantastic music. Has an ethereal quality to it.
