This is probably my favourite overtone style track ever recorded. Unstoppable throat bass.

I remember checking out Yat-Kha way back, when I first discovered this kind of music. I liked the throat singing, but didn't like the rock elements. Not that I'm against a mixture of rock and throat singing, but it seemed a little...I don't know, watered down sounds a little harsh.
But anyway, I really enjoyed this song and I think I'll give them a good, long second listen.

Since I've been enjoying this song all morning, here's some more Christian Zehnder.
Great mix of operatic and throat singing, accompanied with some weird swiss accordeon.

Checked out some more Yat-Kha. Not at all how I remembered.
Some pretty good stuff actually.
Thank god I don't write artists off that easily.

Yep. Oidupaa is great. He sadly died not that long ago. Was hoping he'd do some more albums. There should be some cassette's floating around, but I could never find them. Only have "Divine Music From A Jail" and "Singing With Echoes Through The Universe", with the first one being my favourite.

I'm also a fan of de Dionyso's music. This guy is great at pretty much everything he does.

:( Oh man, I didn't know about that.

Been listening to some Yat-Kha today.
Can't believe I dismissed them so easily years ago.
The music might be a little too polished at times, but the singing is great.

This has been making the rounds lately, and I figured I'd keep it rolling. More of a demo than a song though. I see she's already been featured here, but what the heck.

She is great!
A little unsure at times, but very talented.
Hope she will start making records.
