^ I don`t think you`re missing much; the Strawbs music is pretty forgettable imo, even though Rick Wakeman was in their line up for a while.
Yes, I remember the name Randy Rhodes - didn`t know he was dead though.

Is this thread actually about medieval folk rock, or have I just made it that way ? Whatever the case, I`d like to give a big to Aunt Grace of Hastings. I don`t suppose she`ll ever turn up in the Most Influential Musician thread, but she was a significant link in the chain that led to the English folk revival in the 60s:-
