Nick Drake is effing brilliant. Five Leaves Left is my favourite album of his, the nice fine line between awesome string accompanyment and his own gentle guitar. Pink Moon is awesome too.

An ad ????? Wow that is weird. He is fantastic. I have loved him for years. He is very well known in these shores, I have to say but keep spreading the word. "Time of no reply" is a must. Just him and his guitar. GET IT

'Tis a shame how he went. Very ironic to (debatable) kill yourself by overdosing on painkillers.

Any body ever read the biography. Itis nicely written but very little is known about him full stop. It seems he didn't have many friends at all

His shyness was legendary , He used to do whole gigs without even looking or addressing the audience.

I remember watching an interview with his sister , She said one day he walked into her house with a copy of Five Leaves Left & she looked at it & said 'You sing ?'

I haven't listened to any of his music, but I have heard good things about it.

You like Elliott smith so it shouldn't be too much effort for you to appreciate Nick Drake. He's really amazing.
