Vote for a FAIR album before May 30
Every two weeks the Folk And International Roots Album Club votes for an album that they will listen to and discuss in the coming weeks.
Anyone can vote in this poll, but if you vote, please follow through and be ready to discuss whichever album wins the poll. Quote:

Seven albums to choose from this week; if anyone thinks there´s some dead wood that needs to be cut away by putting it on LAST CHANCE, feel free to let me know. STP gets the special dispensation of voting for his own nomination if he wants because over half the options are his. Sorry if I haven´t been contributing much recently, but I´m a busy boy at work these days ! |

^ Well, he really knows how to work the keyboard, Vanilla, so I hope you enjoy his album.
Any favourite piano players / pieces you´d like to recommend ?

I'm honestly not an expert but I like the classics by Mozart and Beethoven to be honest. Do you have any Piano players to recommend. I'm really interested in how they move their hands along the piano, its like an art form in itself. I will try to attend more classical concerts because that is my favourite way of experiencing classical music

Yeah, for me too; the only time I developed an enthusiasm for classical music was when a friend of mine worked on a local newspaper and we used to go to concerts on his complimentary tickets for a while. When he lost his job, I put classical music on the back-burner again. So I don´t have any great recommendations, but you did inspire me to bump this thread, Vanilla:- http://www.musicbanter.com/classical...big-hands.html

Doh! Missed the poll. Still I would have only muddied it further by adding Nascimento to make it a four-way tie. That album's been a real grower for me. The first few listens I found it a little under-whelming but every time I listen to it a different track emerges as a favourite.

Well, by the usual rules, Maurice El Medioni is the winner this time, but I´m sure that Nascimento´s turn will come around soon.
