Every two weeks the Folk And International Roots Album Club votes for an album that they will listen to and discuss in the coming weeks.
Anyone can vote in this poll, but if you vote, please follow through and be ready to discuss whichever album wins the poll.

Recently, people have been voting around, rather than for Ana Flávia and Anouar Brahem, so if it´s ok with everyone, I´m going to put them both on their LAST CHANCE week. Vote for them in this poll or it will be on your conscience when they are condemned to the outer darkness...

Unlike previous polls, I forgot to make this one "open to the public" , which gives a glimpse of who is voting for what. So feel free to come clean with your votes here if you like.

I myself went for Frownland´s Amulet album. Yes, I´m sorry, stp, I didn´t throw a life-line to poor old Ana Flávia or Anouar Brahem. Hope you don´t mind :o:

Just kidding. To be honest neither the Ana Flavia or Anouar Brahem went the distance with me. They sounded promising but they both faded from grace fairly quickly after repeated listens.


I went for Cenotaph's Fanfare Ciocărlia nomination on the strength of the track he posted. I look forward to the rest of the album.

Ok, we have a winner here with the Pentangle album. Let´s hope everyone can find it and join in the discussion thread opening on April 7th; Be there, or be square !

Pentangle's been on my to-do list for quite a while so this is a good excuse to finally give them a listen.
