Default Panpipe research help needed!! :)

Hey,

I'm currently researching my archaeology undergraduate degree dissertation topic of the panpipes and need some help!!!

I need some correspondance from some panpipe players if possible. I'm looking to find out what it is that draws people to playing the instrument? what the sound means to them? what the instrument represents to them?

The panpipe is one of the oldest living instruments and i'm very instrested ot see what connections the players of today have with the players in the ancient world.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Gary
