A New Turkish Song Everyday
 

Hello people. I decided to share some Turkish artists and their works here :) I'll share some now, and then I'll share one everyday, with some explanations.

I'm excited to hear some! I think I literally only know one Turkish musician at the moment. :)

I'll start with the last Eurovision contest song of Turkey. Artist is 'Can Bonomo', and the title is 'Love Me Back'. He used some old, classic Turkish elements in both the video and the song. Language is English, but the structure of the song, and the instruments used includes some typical classical Northwestern Turkish incluences. Enjoy :)

I enjoy Mogollar, Baris Manco etc. They are the golden artists of an era according to some relatively elder people here, for example my parents hehe :)
Also I love taksim, fasil, kanto and kinda classical styles like them. But usually, I do not stick to just some genre or style. In time, I will try to share all that you mentioned, and many more here :) I want to introduce Turkish artists and music that are not usually familiar to the world. I hope you enjoy them.

I have to tell this, the songs I share here are not my own selection or TOP X list. I am just sharing some random artists that are popular in their own styles, and that I respect, from different genres in Turkey.

So, let's move on :)

And our third artist is a funny guy, 'Beduk'. He's an electronica artist :) has some nice videos :) And he usually uses English as the language in his tracks. I'll share 2 of his songs :)


First song is called 'Better Than My Baby'. I really like this video and the song :)





And the other one is called 'Automatik'. I think this is a nice video idea :)

Here we continue with 'Sila', very popular nowadays, with her emotional, classical influenced songs :) I have to tell that when I say 'classical', I refer to 'classical Turkish'.

I love this one. I wish I had the English to translate the lyrics, with the exact same meanings and emotions :)
