Şebnem Ferah - Geçmişe Yolculuk

JOURNEY TO THE PAST

I'm like dead end street that covered with dry foliage today.
Only inhabitants in that street come and pass over me.

I'm like hotel that many of its room is empty but sometimes filled.
Lives, loves and stories come and go through inside of me.

I wasn't like such that,
When did i get lost?
I'd dance with wind,
When did it hurl me?

I heard a voice from past times.
I heard a voice from a little girl.

I want a ticket, only single ticket.
I must go to purity of childhood and live there.

I want ticket, only single seater.
I must remember the feeling of excitement, because to live on tomorrow.
(Yarına çıkmak, to continue to live)

I'm like a silent and tranquil bench in the park today,
City lights bed down over me at nights.
I'm like sea of ships that carried tons of burden,
I have buoyancy but wastes of city are leaking to inside of me.
