Default Here's a few I like

Salif Keita-- one of my favorite artists ever
Ismael Lo--you need to listen to "Tajabone" -beautiful
Miriam Makeba--I like her more traditional songs
Amampondo- recommend listening to State of Emergency
Cesaria Ivoire-her voice is hauntingly beautiful
Angelique Kidjoe--like her earlier music better than more recent works


there's lots of others I could list but for those of you who haven't heard the above artists you need to take a listen

Oh don't worry friend. I have heard of some of these guys before. Salif Keita is a excellent singer. I love his music especially his early years with some bands he used to work with. Miriam Makeba is a true African diva. TRUE ONE.
