Oh dear! It looks as if we're in for a three way tie! I think there's definitely something worth investigating about the empty, soft character of Greg Brown's "The Evening Call". It was certainly very high up for me - I will definitely add that to my list for buying in the future. "mellow" was definitely the right adjective, I think.
