Hello,

I am trying to find the song title, artist and correct lyrics to a song that I only have a few pieces of. This is a very, very old song and hopefully, there's someone here who can match a song to parts of it.

Here's the parts:

Oh we met, we fell in love, and we parted...
Same old story, that a million hearts can tell
For she turned out to be jealous hearted
and life for her and I became a living Hell

Oh Lord I'm standing on the door steps to Heaven
For she's asking me to try it once again.
But I know if I hang around much longer,
One or both of us are sure to lose our mind.
