Yes I would have to agree with you there as far as fleshing out something from 1400 BC with a modern orchestra. I was doing a bit of Googling on the composition and it seems it was only very loosely based on the original music. Shame really. It is certainly a tantalising concept.

I also agree, it seems really different rom what the music on the two websites stp posted sounds like.

But then again, I listened to all of those MIDIs and while it's cool that they have the music, it's not extremely interesting. Just hymns...
