Simply cannot find anything (sorry if the title is misleading)

I know he was famous for his reclusion, but his biography does mention he played some gigs. So I've scoured youtube, asked my friend who is into folk stuff, and nothing. Does anyone have ANY videos of him performing any song? I'll give anything in return.

I would have sworn that I've seen footage of him playing live. But I may be thinking of still shots or someone else entirely. I searched just now and found nothing. Interesting. Which biography are you talking about?

Darker than the Deepest Sea...also wikipedia the guy, it's probably there too.

I read there was some footage of him as a child but that's it.

With his music I like his first album the most, the second I find a bit overproduced and the last one is rated highly perhaps because it was his last.

There isn't any live footage of him.

If 3 documentary makers & the BBC couldn't find anything I doubt anyone here will.

Yeah, the only known footage of him is as a child. You might have seen still photos in a flipbook style. At least that is all I have seen or heard of.

For the obsessed, however, there is this very short, disputed footage of the great man :

Damn... this thread is a huge disappointment. I thought there was actually live footage of him.

Yeah, they've made a few music videos that way.

I read that. I hated the author's style and a lot of his opinions but it was pretty informative.
No live footage. Ah well.
