I am a pretty big fan of AOA; their most recent song bridges the gap between their early stuff and late stuff. Still looking for another band concept.

Korea has many big voices, but K-Pop sucks! K-Drama OST do it justice.
K-Pop copy so many things in music industry from Japan and claim theirs. I'm really tired of Korean.

Hibiki, can I just ask you to please consider what you're writing before you write it? You come on a Korean music thread which is largely appreciation of k-pop simply to say that k-pop "sucks"? Come on, dude. Why don't you start your own thread and title it "k-pop sucks." I'm sure plenty of like-minded people will join you in your rage. After all the work derek has done on this thread and kept up with it over all this time, that was an incredibly rude and inconsiderate post. I can see that you didn't come to make friends. So...bye.

Here is a new group Mamamoo. They made this song for a Kdrama...love their vocals..

something a bit different...this is traditional korean folk music from a child prodigy..she started singing at 5yrs old...now at 18yrs old...love her voice..just incredible

If you're interested in pop music...i suggest this group Nine Muses...best songs in the business.

I recommend ORANGE CARAMEL, T-ARA or Nu'est :) They are my favorite groups. Nu'est is full of super adorable guys... *_*

Korean pop is very 80's sounding still but with the techniques of today. It's an odd mix but they can have good stuff once in a while!
