Get Your Saucy Moves On, It's Salsa Week!
Hola! Buenos días muchachos!
This week is salsa week. Appearantly, it's not just a dance, but also the rhythmical style of music that salsa dancers like to dance to. The musical traditions supposedly have their origins from Cuba, but the style is popular elsewhere as well, particularly Latin and North America according to the wikipedia article. Well, that's enough bla-bla-bla from me. Truth be told, I'm pretty clueless about salsa, but I've made an attempt at finding something. Now, let's hear some salsa music! |

Haha, salsa is the kind of stuff I would not listen to much at home, but it might be fun to listen to when you go out I guess. My GF wishes I would dance. I never do :p:

Another "big name" of the genre (and also Latin jazz and other): Tito Puente (American-Puerto Rican, 1923-2000). He even appeared in The Simpsons: he dedicated a salsa song to Mr. Burns, as a revenge (he calls him "devil with money" :laughing:).
