Quakers on Probation ? anyone seen these guys ?

I am wondering if anyone here has heard of a band called Quakers on Probation ? More specifically i am curious if they play live or if they are still or ever were a band ? I get the idea from the stuff i have read online that this may have just been a recording project , but i did read a thread on a different site where a guy said he saw them last year.
I bought their album after hearing them on an online radio station . Really great record ( sound kind of like The Byrds and Beatles )
Their website doesn't seem to ever get updated and i am wondering if anyonme knows what's up? It'd be just my luck to discover a band i dig only to find out they aren't together anymore ! :banghead:
