Arrow Zac Brown Band - (album) The Foundation.

The Zac Brown Bands album The Foundation, released in 1998 is one of my personal favorite, more.. Contemperary Country albums, 'as to say', concerning today's modern maintream country music, "Free" is the album's fifth single and, as of July 19, 2010, is still climbing the charts.

Everybody to his own taste..
I believe Zac Brown is ranked at number three, top country bands of 2010, and the Obama's invited him to play at the White House, which he did.
Most replies concerning the band are positive ones, Ive noticed. Here is one I didn't mention on the same album The Foundation that I listen to a lot.

i try not to hate things, because it requires a lot of energy that could be better used elsewhere. but i'm not gonna lie: i think it might require more to not hate this. no offense.

Oh...no offense taken, I might clarify my last statement a little more in detail.
Most replies concerning Zac Brown Ive noticed are statements like, "There OK".. or something to that sort.
I liked the comment you made, "Hate requires alot of energy that could be better used elsewhere".
Do you like country music zevokes? if so, what artist are some of your favorites?
Musicbanter doesnt really have alot of country music fans that post very often here anyway, especially when the subject is about todays modern country.

generally speaking, i don't like the sound of country music. given, there are always gems. i don't catalogue the ones i like though, and thusly can't recite them. if there is country music i like, it's the guitar playing which gets me... and sometimes the lyrics and thoughts are hilarious.

i'm just not a fan of twang and drawl is all.

I gotch' ya, that is something about Zac Brown concerning my own personal taste of country music also, Im not a fan of the 'twang & drawl is all' either.
And Zac Brown can go from, I think its fair to say a 'Contemperary Country' sound, then on the other hand, get too country..for me, with songs like 'Chicken Fried' and so on.
I have just heard so much of the traditional country through the years..lol.

I love this band, but they get overplayed. My favorite songs on the album are Mary and Jolene; I am just glad they did not become singles and get overplayed as well. Does anyone know when they are expecting a new cd out?
