Of all the Dalom Kids songs I have heard Ndilambile is my favourite one, and the more I listen to it, the more I like it. There are more nice songs of the group out there, but in my opinion, to put it into one sentence, there are others too which lack the South African (o.k. I have never been to South Africa) vibe Ndilambile has.

For nearly 3,000 years, the city of Naples, Italy has been a bustling urban cultural center, a natural crucible for the arts and sounds of the western world. Ars Nova Napoli, a sextet of buskers playing strings, percussion, and accordion, distills Napoli's rich historical tradition into uniquely exciting modern performance.
Since its inception, the sextet headed by singer Marcello Squillante has committed itself to exploring the most diverse genres of southern Italy – from the pizzica of Apulia via the serenades of Sicily to the Calabrian tarantella. They readily listen to the traditional singing of the local people and how they handle their instruments at first hand.

Angelo Debarre is a French guitarist born into the Django Reinhardt Gypsy tradition. Having lived in a caravan for many decades, he spent his youth performing in France with family and friends. On top of his love for the music of Django Reinhardt, he is also well known for his passion for eastern European music which he discovered in the 80s, when many eastern European Gypsy musicians were performing in Paris at the Roue Fleurie. Today, he is recognized as one of the top Gypsy Jazz guitarists in the world.

Riturnella is a folk song of Calabrian origin. In it a swallow, a great traveler, is asked to wait for the time to speak words of love to take to her distant beloved.

I have no idea what she's saying but I'm playing it on the next 'date night' with Mrs. Buckeye. I'm feeling lucky!

The Marenych Trio, or the Marenychs was a Ukrainian musical group that performed folk songs mostly in Ukrainian. The subsequent decline in the band's popularity and disappearance from television and radio is attributed to disputes between the band members and officials of the Ministry of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR... Among the reasons for these disputes are also the band's refusal to give concerts at stadiums, perform Soviet patriotic songs...
