Welcome to MB, Evangelion !

Yes, that's a nice song, by two guys I've never heard of; thanks for posting it. I can't make out all the words, so I'm going to go back and listen to it again...

In the meantime, here's something very different from one of the big names -and big voices- of Bulgarian folk music, Yanka Rupkina:-

Thanks,

He's a great artist, I love his music, you should check him out. The lyrics are incredible.

"I've been crazy, couldn't you tell? I threw stones at the stars but the whole sky fell"

"and I ached for my heart like some tin man, when it came and it banged and it boiled and it rang. It's ringing.

This evening I'm downloading some music by Krauka - a Danish band who have the kind of sound I like; homemade, a little rough around the edges and with lyrics which are incomprehensible to me. Not sure if this video is doing them any favours though :-

I strongly recommend Faun to people who love folk music as I do.

Abalone Dots played a concert in my area on Thursday and I was happy that I got to see them. Although I have posted them in this thread before, I might as well post them again since they were amazing live (haven't seen so many traditional keyharps played in bands). They said they were next going to play some concerts in Spain and the U.S. so maybe they are on their way to your neighborhood soon.

^ This band has a lot going for it; sexy instruments and acoustic women.

D'Gary is a guitarist from Madagascar who plays with intricate delicacy or super-fast when he wants to. Here he keeps it restrained to let his charming vocalist shine:-
