Anyone interested of a southern rock sound check out Blackberry Smoke. I just discovered them and they are awesome.

Is experimental country music a thing? I'd love to hear some.

Chadbourne has his moments but it's mostly in his collaborations. His solo stuff didn't do much for me but honestly I haven't checked out much of it. Any albums I should check out?

Was listening to some country in the truck lately, and this tune caught my ear a bit, particularly the fantastic bend in the intro, and through out the tune:

Then, I was playing it at work and someone mentioned this band, and they're not half bad:

Gonna check out their album later on.

I know I'm nine days late replying to this post, but anyway...

Listening to these guys reminded me a little of Reckless Kelly. You should check these guys out if you've not before. They've got a similar kinda Stones-esque classic rock stomp to them - it's good stuff.

Pretty good. Thanks for the rec man. Nice little Explorer Mandolin that dude has there. As far as the country-ish stuff I've gotten into over the years, here's a few:

Spoiler for Musics:

Traditional

Honky Tonk

Instrumental

New Country
