I know it's Bollywood and it's being mimed by actresses... but I like this song and I'm posting it. Forgive me.

^ This band has such a great name - and quite a reputation too. For some reason, the only song of theirs I´ve previously heard was very disappointing, so thanks for showing a clip where they sound so good. They reminded me a little of these guys:-

I've not heard of the Duhks before but like that song. I'll have to check 'em out.

Old Crow Medicine Show are somewhat hit and miss in my eyes too. A lot of their stuff I really like and some of their stuff I strongly dislike.

^ That´s about how the Duhks are as well - some great Americana tracks and some less interesting material too. Can´t find it on Youtube, but they recorded a great version of the song called "Dance Hall Girls" which you might like, Charlie.

And how about Railroad Earth - ever come across them ? They write their own material, but it´s pretty consistently in a traditional style. Here´s one of their most melodic efforts:-

# Yes, the Solomon Burke song is excellent, and a really exquisite sound for a live performance.

# Glad you liked the Railroad Earth track, Charlie. As well as short songs they do some longer jams which are also pretty good imo.

# You have to admire Seasick Steve, who keeps it simple but also keeps it interesting. Do you feel like he has never quite shaken off the experience of busking? This is probably the best song by another guy who likes to emphasise his busking past:-
