So I was wondering if anyone else is familiar with this artist:



Mat Sweet, AKA Boduf Songs, folk musician that manages to create some very beautiful and dark songs. Probably not for everyone, but he really knows how to marry beauty and horror in a way that doesn't compromise the integrity of the genre.

I just heard him yesterday when I was listening to a mix tape a friend made that included this song. It stuck out because well... listening to it kind of feels like my soul is being ripped out of my body through my asshole. I know it doesn't sound like a compliment, but it is.

Not crazy about this song, but, I am going to listen to some more. I am betting he has some I will like. thanks.
