The Marenych Trio, or the Marenychs was a Ukrainian musical group that performed folk songs mostly in Ukrainian. The subsequent decline in the band's popularity and disappearance from television and radio is attributed to disputes between the band members and officials of the Ministry of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR... Among the reasons for these disputes are also the band's refusal to give concerts at stadiums, perform Soviet patriotic songs...
The Marenych Trio - Чом ти не прийшов (Why didn't you come?) (Ukraine)

Spoiler for The Marenych Trio - Несе Галя воду (Galya was carrying water):

Haha, thanks Safar, Grelo has been the ultimate Friday night soundtrack lately here in Brazil...

Today I bring a Belarussian band I've been obsessed with, Soyuz. They've got this adorable vibe that reminds me of some folk-funk from the seventies. Happy Autumn everyone!

Happy autum for you too, xico. Here we have 11 degrees Celsius, but with Brazilian sky. Blue and sunny, that`s why we call it golden October.
That`s the right stuff for cold days. Music from a tropical island.
