Default Chanting

Ok, im new here so was wondering if anyone could help me out. I love chanting music like you here in like films such as 300, i dont know if its orthodox Greek chanting, but its very passionate chanting. I like this, it seems that it may be mixed with a new age type thing or not. I know Gregorian chanting, but its different, im just really confused about it and would love to find out more about it, cause i really dig it. Thanks guys.

I dont know about music albums so much with chanting but if you want to hear some serious crazy sounding and looking chanting you need to check out the film Baraka.... I only suggest you watch it on blu-ray it will blow you away with its chanting scene, I think the movie avatar kinda ripped off it off... but then it again maybe its some hindu ritual i dont know.

Heres a youtube video but I think it can only be apprecaited in HD 5.1 Sound and HD Video.

*edit I just looked up 300 chant I dont know what that is... I got some Lady Gaga Chant over 300. So I dont know if thats something you where looking for.

Nah i dont know, its hard to look up i know the woman is Azam Ali, and her work is good but im talking in general, that type of dramatic/passionate chanting with that new age music to it sounds nice, alot of movies use it, but i dont know, maybe its just freelance work from composers.
