they are amazing! one of the best/underrated bands around. and they actually aren't Christian at all, I've read--just use Christian symbols and images metaphorically, often for vivid depictions of sexuality, youth, etc. I think they were raised in Catholic schools and therefore claim that biblical reference is kind of like a vocabulary they are familiar with to draw metaphor from and twist it into new beautiful imagery.

can't wait for their new album
