^ That`s some fast and furious playing !
Another stringed instrument, with a different tone, is the Kora from West Africa; a dried gourd forms the body of the instrument and the twenty-one strings are usually of humble nylon fishing line, but the sound they produce is beautifully delicate. Unfortunately, we don`t get to see the playing up close in this clip -but I chose this one anyway because of the soothing tune : |
