I don't see any discussion on Italian music!
I am a big fan of Vasco Rossi.
Anyone else familiar?
He is really big in Italy and I love
his bad ass attitude.
I'm not Italian and do not speak either.

Lebanese singer Yasmine Hamdan. She's definitely one of my favourites.

I can recommend Turkish music. I'm Turkish

If you like rock music you should listen Şebnem Ferah. She have a perfect voice.

Perdeler 'Curtains'

Sigara 'Cigarette'

Artık Kısa Cümleler Kuruyorum

And yet another Turkish singer, Sertab Erener. You should listen her too.

Tanrı Unutmuş Olsa da

İncesaz - Çok Aşığın Var Diyorlar

İlkay Akkaya - Fırtınada Gemim

I just discovered, Mohsen Namjoo. And i very liked his song. You should listen this song. Wikipedia: "Mohsen Namjoo is an Iranian musician, singer-songwriter. His style of music is influenced by Blues and Rock as well as Iranian folk music. The lyrics of his songs are also odd combination of Persian classical poems, his own lyrics, and contemporary poems; and uses the words freely with irony and sarcasm to carry the music and make a free style of singing. An Iranian correspondent for The New York Times in Iran wrote that "some call him a sort of Bob Dylan of Iran"".

Default The Firangees

Check out the Firangees from India. It's a project created by music producers. They dont do any live shows though preferring to release their songs (about 1 song a month free downloads) on their soundcloud account and their website.
