I highly suggest checking out Winter Winds because its more on the other end of their work, doesn't sound like most of their stuff, then go to Roll Away Your Stone, then go for Sigh No More for the kicker
gives you a good look at how their work goes |

so a few days ago and i just heard these guys on youtube... i love them. i cant believe i hadnt heard of them sooner. they just started becoming mainstream on the radio over here and its a shame its taken so long. regardless i think they are great musicians in the true sense of the word.

When I bought the Mumford and Sons album I kept it on repeat for 3 weeks straight. I am still so entranced by it. The more you listen, the better it gets. I have heard it called "Flogging Molly's acoustic album" but whomever said that stopped short of discovering this gem. I think Little Lionman sounds a little Flogging Molly... but the rest has its own two feet firmly on the ground. The swells, pauses, harmonies, the banjo... its a combination that inspires and awes.
The lyrics are some of the most fascinating I've heard in a while... complex, they want to be religious but they aren't, or are they? Deep moral and value issues... love and life. Examples: "“If only I had an enemy bigger than my apathy I could have won” “Plant your hope with good seeds. Don’t cover yourself with thistle and weeds” “In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die. Where you invest your love, you invest your life” “It seems that all my bridges have been burnt, But you say that’s exactly how this grace thing works” “Lead me to the truth and I will follow you with my whole life”
