Default My French Hall of Fame Songs.

This is my open thread about some French classical songs and singers (French or not) i like. And if you like it (or not), don't forget to react.

Maxime Le Forestier - San Francisco (1972)
A song on San Francisco, hippies, old friends and nostalgia.

I react to your post!

-"Le vent Nous Portera" can easily be my favorite French song, I don't think it needs any more praising. It's a classic.

-I love Alain Bashung, but still haven't got a lot of his songs, one of my favorites is "Madame Reve". It got killer violins that one.

-I hadn't heard of Maxime Le Forestier but I should definitely check him out. I loved "San Francisco", pretty much my kind of music.

-Arno was my least favorite from the list. haven't heard of him either, and seeing the video, I didn't really like him. But that's just personal, I don't like this kind of Italian-esque ruckus base voice.

>>Still can't believe Bashung died ...

anyway, looking forward for the rest ...
