I've been hooked on the Beginner's guide to Dark Cabaret ever since I downloaded it, and I've been really confused on which albums to begin with, so any thoughts?
It's really hard to say because the genre can be really split into two groups. The first group is just a collection of musicians who like the sound of the music, the second is a group of musicians AND actors. For bands like Circus Contraption visuals are just as part for the show as the music, in fact the visuals are what compliment the music. As a place to start off, what was your favorite song off that compilation? If I can I'll send you the full album in which it came from.
