That's pretty much how I felt when I first heard Ambassador by Elliott BROOD back in 2007. The only other country artists I really enjoyed listening to before then was Corb Lund and Johnny Cash and had pretty much resigned to the fact that all other country was horrible. Now that's certainly true to a degree, but there are some really good alt. country acts out there besides the overrated Wilco. The Gothic Country genre really makes me wish I lived in the South just so I could actually see a lot of these bands because they don't seem to travel out west as much as they should. Anyways I'm glad you're liking the music so far.
