Hey thanks. Awesome, just awesome.
Have you heard Jeff Finlin? "...Dominated by themes of love and betrayal, death and rebirth, the characters in Finlin's sordid little tales are always leaving -- leaving bad relationships, leaving good relationships, even leaving this mortal vale. If songs like "The Perfect Mark of Cain" or "Waiting on a Flood" seem hopelessly dark, Finlin also imbues Original Fin with the light of faith and..." (snippet from emusic review) Perfect Mark of Cain blew me away when I first heard it a few days ago. Also, I like the group Murder By Death - someone may have already mentioned them. Some of Chris Knight's stuff is pretty dark, too. |

i'm diggin jeff finlin, though some of his stuff is alittle too ambient to me now chris knight on the other hand is a subject i'm well versed in,....for some years now his 'it aint easy bein me' has been a standard in the texas country circles i've adopted 'framed' as one of my own personal anthems youre right, chris can get alittle dark, but in a very beautiful poetic way, and thats why i love about him,...after all all you really need is love and a .45
