I disagree, the fact that you know Elliott BROOD and The Handsome Family shows that you pay particular attention to it. 16 Horsepower are considered the fathers of this genre because they were playing it back in '96 but I'm not sure if they coined the genre name or not. Regardless I am pleased to see you showing an interest in it, I was about ready to give up on this thread and focus exclusively on my blogs, however I may rethink that for the time being.
