I love Merle, Paycheck, DAC and the like.
But you can't say all new country's bad. There's Hank III, Bob Wayne, Wayne Hancock, Hellbound Glory(shameless promotion), and others. Don't even get me started on Those Poor Bastards, The .357 String Band, Split Lip Rayfield, and the Pine Box Boys, now that's some kick ass music.
