i don't know how you couldn't like The Band. They are just great. They have put out some good quality stuff. I love the Southern sound in Helm's voice. I always seem to listen to them before or after I listen to the Allman Brothers, they mesh well together.
The Weight is my favorite (as is most people's) I just love how you can picture the scene of what he is singing about in your head. Not many bands do that for me but THE BAND definelty does. |
