I managed to get the soundtrack that she did along with John McCusker for the film 'Heartlands' today. Fantastic piece of British Folk.

If anybody has some really good british folk albums i'd be interested in listening to them. I love folk but i accept most of my taste in the field emanates from either the mid-60s to early 70s or contemporary American efforts. I've overlooked my own backyard.

Stu. Explore this site. Time Has Told Me. Not just British but there is plenty there that may interest you and others. For example I have been listening to The Copper Family and find it fascinating.

I think you're right. and there just isn't such a market for it these days, especially with younger listeners. but there are still some awesome folk (folk/rock) artists out there, they just need a bit more exposure. I saw some awesome folk acts t the acoustic stage at Glastonbury this year.

Have a listen to this guy, Jon Allen.. (myspace.com/jonallenmusic)
