Dropkick Murphys obvoiusly they just make the banjo sound good in punk music bottom ****ing line everything they does is amazing and the banjo just seems to tie it all together sorry this one was shorter but I've got a video: |

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones!
The only banjo music you will ever need. I can't post links, but if you like the banjo FaSho, I would look them up on YouTube. He's an absolutely incredible player. The song "Stomping Grounds" is my favorite. Their bass player is also a machine. |
Checked. Downloaded. Loved. Thanks dude!

In my Jazz Greats collection I have an album by Eddie Condon called Beat To The Socks. He plays the Banjo as part of the rhythm section, never as lead, and played with some very useful greats such as Louis Armstrong, Gene Krupa, Jack Teagarden, Fats Waller for example. Not Country at all but I thought he was of interest.
