I'll recommend "The Earl Scruggs Revue" from 1973 which really has a lot of guest artists on it.
.. So Earl Scruggs did a lot with other people, most notably Lester Flatt as they were a bit of a duo (Scruggs & Flatt / Foggy Mountain Boys). That stuff's good too.

Oh yeah, Lester Flatts and Earl Scruggs took the banjo to a whole....notha.....level. Did a review about that song in my Member's journal a while back.
