No problem, I highly recommend their "Live Art" album if you want to look more into them.

I say Pete Seeger would have to be my favorite banjoist. I bought one last year for my 16th birthday and it's probably my most played instruments

I have a soft spot for banjos... my boyfriend plays one

Favorite uses of banjo... Old Crow Medicine Show, old Taj Mahal, and the Avett Brothers.

I think I saw an interview with Scott Avett somewhere where he said the most banjo strings he's broken in one show is 12. yikes.

I'm sorry to all the banjo lovers out there, but I've struggled too long resisting my hatred for this instrument every time I see this thread updated.

I feel better now.
