I say Pete Seeger would have to be my favorite banjoist. I bought one last year for my 16th birthday and it's probably my most played instruments

I have a soft spot for banjos... my boyfriend plays one

Favorite uses of banjo... Old Crow Medicine Show, old Taj Mahal, and the Avett Brothers.

I think I saw an interview with Scott Avett somewhere where he said the most banjo strings he's broken in one show is 12. yikes.
