Default Tell me that it isn't true

I've been listening to Dylan's Nashville Skyline a lot over the past few days, and this evening my dad came into the room as 'Tell me that it isn't true' came on.

He is convinced there is an organ in the song, while I believe it is an electric guitar being played with a slide. Whatever instrument it is which is playing, it can be heard at the beginning of the intro, and onwards, along with the acoustic.

Can anybody settle this argument, and tell me what exactly it is which is playing in the song?
