Default Edith Piaf

All right - who digs the sparrow? A few jumps back I heard Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien in Intolerable Cruelty and I've never turned back. Me and my French teacher got to talking about her and La Vie En Rose, the movie, which I then went out and bought... the teacher lent me "The Best of the Sparrow" (album) and there's not one song on there I didn't fall in love with in my own way. So I gave that back to her, and went out to buy the Edith Piaf 30th Addition, a two-disk album with all her hits and all her misses. Again, not one song I'm not somewhat in love with. The movie illustrated the pain behind the music & you can identify with her more if you watch it. The song I want at my funeral is Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien (and Vicious' version of My Way, but that's beside the point...). Let's get some sparrow love flowin'.

Fantastic talent so far ahead of her or our time.

I agree with you. It kinda seems like all great artists are somehow ahead of their time, don't it? And that's why people can hear them.

I'm obsessing over her lately, have La Vie en Rose on repeat.

Little Sparrow. Her emotions that grasps into every song will not be forgotten. Milord is the one that hits me.
