Do people not know Pierrot or are you all just not that interested? IMO the best j-rock band to come out of the 90s era. Unfortunately disbanded in 2005, but made so many good albums and really clever/creepy/delirious vids. I love overly dramatic crap.
The crazy thing about pierrot is that no one in Japan ever seems to know about them either. In their live vids there are thousands of screaming fans, so, I wonder, who was their audience exactly? Here's an early one, Birdcage: And from their later years, dramatic neo anniversary (lit. duramatiku neo anibasuri) Enjoy....I find them much easier to listen to than Dir en Grey, and less cheesy than GLAY or L'arc... |
