Well, country music has become very popular in the US and also in European countries. Shania Twain releases her albums here and in Europe with 2 separate covers for the album. Scandenavia has become a hot spot for country artist as well. Who knows why? Go figure. I sing country and R&B.

yeah but it also depends if the artist is good which im trying to get across. but you're right, if they are capable of doing it and make it sound good, than let them go for it. but they should never ruin a good song. which most do.

i think its still,...pop
what nashville is produceing now isnt really country,....its souped up sugary poppy country,.....so i'm sure those pop stars will fit right in,..... i can sell you a duck and tell you it a chicken,.... |

Its influenced by country though and that can only be a good thing. Its essentially a gateway drug. Good country players are just as good as any other musician so I for one support their dissemination.
