Default Sufjan Stevens

Whoever this is, it sounds like Imogen Heap (who I'm massivly fond of) from Frou Frou and her solo works. I can't tell a gender on this person yet but it appears as if he's "drafting" her style for lack of a better term, let me know what you think and if anyones heard this CD can I get a review?

I haven't heard his latest album, but Seven Swans is an absolutely gorgeous record.

I adore Sufjan Stevens. His latest album, Illinois is absolutely stunning, what I've heard of it anyway. My mate's copying it for me this week so I'll post a review up later, but so far the song about 'John Wayne Gacy' is my favourite, particularly the lyrics. Listen for it.

Nice use of sarcasm with your elipses there but I'm sure any artist would rather I get a copy of their album and tell everyone how amazing it is and have some of these people buy the album and go to the gig than not listen to it at all just because I couldn't afford to buy it.

ok that song is actually pretty good, it doesn't reach out for the kill (no pun intended) but its got a nice set of lyrics and the music ain't bad.

Yeah what I liked about it so much was the way it managed to make something so awful sound so beautiful. Musically it's not the best song, sometimes it's something else that grabs me and if the music goes along with that then the underdog wins.

well i think the problem is when he should go to a high note, he pulls it back to a high whisper, and I don't know why but that bothers me.
