I heard one of his songs last night or this morning and loved it. I'm gonna check this guy out.

Love him...still raw break-up makes me avoid him though. Not forever though.

I have just heard the song "John Wayne Gacy Jr." and loved it. Can anyone recommend which album I should start off with?

his new album 'the age of adz' is truly unique and breathtaking, listening to it for the first time literally put a smile on my face that i could not wipe, which was a strange feeling.

as for his other stuff, its good, but i prefer andrew bird for that style of music

He is one of my most listened to artists as of now. I just can't get over his simplistic yet beautiful sound. Simple but very distinct and full of nuances that really stand out to me and give him a signature sound. His lyrics are what really mesmerizes me. I can't quite explain it other than how poetic he is and how personal and vulnerable some of his writing is. Carrie & Lowell might be my favorite album of his right now. That whole album is very moving and powerful.

I listened to Seven Swans yesterday. I adore that album and all he has to express on it.

Oh yes, that's a brilliant album. Haven't been able to get enough of it lately.

Sufjan Stevens has shared a new music video for the Helado Negro-remixed track “Life with Dignity.” Available via Apple Music.
