Country music is the only good music in the last two decades. Pop/rock collapsed after 1982 when video took over. Country rose up in the 1990s with Garth Brooks and Shania Twain. Nashville is still putting out good music today.

Well, I do like country. I don't listen to a ton but I enjoy it from time to time.

I'd like to like country. Not necessarily the watch-you-leave-through-the-screen-door stuff, but I'm interested in gothic and alternative country at least.
