I really love some of that sappy stuff that makes me feel like a kid growing up in a rural setting-- living in the city now, it's a connection to something real that I miss.
You don't live in the city..........................You live in the shitty

I don't mean any disrespect to you personally but it is my honest opinion that Hamilton is the asshole of Ontario

I'm English (rah) so Jackhammer's words apply to me. I have some Ryan Adams, Elvis Costello's 'Blue', Cash at Folsom Prison, can't remember anything else, it just doesn't get the time of day from me. Dylan ofcourse but he's authentic and folky

More than prepared to be swayed though. I saw a bit of some big c&w awards coverage in the US, there were pyrotechnics, plaid vests, rednecks. Terrible. I hope that's not what we're talking about

Have you tried Whiskeytown? I prefer them to anything Ryan Adams has done solo. You might also try Cash's American Recordings, or some bands (like Uncle Tupelo) that were in the No Depression crowd.

Dylan's Nashville Skyline is a great country album, and I think Almost Blue is underrated.

Tim Easton
Ryan Adams
500 Miles To Memphis
Drive By Truckers
Lucinda Williams
Steve Earle
The Reverend Horton Heat
Holy Rollin' Hellfires

Well I lived in Georgia for six years, and now I live in a town where there's almost as much country at dances as there is hip hop.

Add that to the amount of early Zeppelin I have been listening too, and it's no surprise I find myself tolerating country more and more.

I love Country music, and my neck is red as the Georgia Clay.

You can try to mock us, but it only makes us stronger.
